Post clearing FMGE, students must complete a one-year rotatory internship in a recognized hospital in India. After completing the internship duration only, the students become eligible to become a fully qualified medical practitioner in India.
Many students also choose to appear for the NEET PG exam in order to pursue a Master's in India. The NEET PG is a highly competitive exam; only after clearing this, one can secure a seat in ga overnment medical college.
